The WISE Annual Awards
are given in recognition of companies and individuals who
have actively addressed the issue of promoting science, engineering
and construction to girls and young women, so supporting the aims
of WISE. Each award will be presented by Her Royal Highness,
The Princess Royal, the Royal Patron of WISE.
The WISE Excellence Award is open to women
engineers who are in the early stages of their career, scientists
and those working in construction. To qualify for this award
a high level of commitment to the profession and the
promotion of science, engineering and construction to girls and
young women must be demonstrated. Interviews for
applicants of this award will be
held in London.
The WISE Partnership Award
is open to those who have actively built into their
role the promotion of careers in science, engineering or
construction for women in their local region.
The Investor in WISE Award is
open to national companies or organisations
supporting WISE and the promotion of women in science,
engineering and construction in the UK.
