Biography - Harry Tee
Harry Tee has worked in the electronics industry for over 30
years firstly as a design engineer then moving into Sales,
Marketing and General Management.
He has worked for multi-nationals such as ITT and Schlumberger
as well as UK public companies such as Graseby. In 1990 he founded
The Roxboro Group PLC and grew this to a £250million company
acquiring companies such as Weston, the aerospace sensors company
and Solartron the instrumentation company along the way. He listed
Roxboro on the LSE full market in 1994.
Harry is now Chairman of a number of companies including
Dialight plc, SDI plc, Piezotag Ltd. He has recently retired as
Chairman of PERA International, the Innovation Company. Harry is
also Warden of the Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument
Makers.
He was invited to become founder Chairman of the Electronics
Leadership Council in 2005 by the then Minister for Trade and
Industry (now BERR) and has steered the Council through its first
three years.
He was President of EECA the European Electronic Component
Manufacturers Association for the three years from 1998 to 2000 and
is a past President of GAMBICA and a Past Vice-President of
Intellect.
Harry is married with two sons and lives in Hertfordshire.
