Engineering Challenge
This competition has been designed for three
competitors with collective expertise in:
- CNC machining and programming generation
- conventional machining
- electronic and electrical assembly
- mechanical assembly
- joining
- commissioning of an electro-mechanical product
The teams will be required to deliver the most
cost-effective compliant solution to the challenge set.
The skills tested will include
the ability to;
- work as a team
- produce and document design solutions
- knowledge of production solutions
- CADD skills
- electronic and electrical skills
- IT applications skills
- CNC and conventional machining skills
